Dr. Dan L. Bennett is a trusted and highly respected physician. He specializes in cosmetic plastic surgery for men and women, and he has been in private practice in the Greater Kansas City area since 1985. Each year, he attends national and international workshops, seminars, and conferences to increase his skills and knowledge of the latest technology in cosmetic plastic surgery.
He is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society and received an award for Clinical Excellence from the University of California, Irvine College of Medicine. He successfully fulfilled requirements to be board certified in three specialties: Plastic Surgery, Otolaryngology (ear, nose, and throat), and Hand Surgery. Additional education and training include fellowships in Microsurgery and Craniofacial Surgery.

Dr. Bennett's avid interest in Anti-aging and Longevity has changed many of his patients' lifestyles. He firmly believes in the benefits of healthy diet and exercise, and in the value of vitamin, nutrient and hormone supplementation.
Dr.
Bennett and his family moved to Kansas City from California in 1981. He
and his wife, Wini, together with two Yorkie puppies, make their home
in Johnson County. Their four children are adults now, and they have been
blessed with two grandchildren, Alexa and Luke.
In addition to Dr. Bennett's successful practice, he spends most of his free time outdoors--biking, running, or snow skiing in the Colorado Rockies. He is proud of completing several marathons including Boston, Chicago, New York, and most recently the Milleninum Marathon in New Zealand. Other interests include reading, playing the piano, and "sleight of hand" magic (as a medical intern, he turned many children's tears into laughter).

Lee is the Surgical Nurse Coordinator at the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Centre. In 1981, she graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing. She has devoted herself exclusively to plastic surgery nursing since joining Dr. Bennett's team over fourteen years ago and is certified as a Plastic Surgery nurse. Lee will smoothly direct you through your surgical process from pre-operative teaching to scheduling your special surgery and attentive follow-up care afterwards. Lee's reassuring demeanor is most comforting to our patients, and we are proud to have her on our team. She and her husband, together with their children Zach and Britta, enjoy boating and swimming throughout the summer months. Lee is happy to share her helpful tips on how to avoid skin damage from the harmful rays of the sun with you!

Dania is our Patient Coordinator. She is a registered nurse with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1995, she joined Dr. Bennett's team and shortly thereafter received certification as a Plastic Surgery Nurse. She will visit with you during your complimentary consultation, show you videos of your prospective surgery, review pre- and post-op photographs with you, and address your questions and concerns in a relaxed, comfortable environment. The specialized cosmetic surgery knowledge that she has gained over the years - along with her generalized nursing and administrative skills - make her an invaluable asset to the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Centre. Dania is married and enjoys summertime at the lake.

The very first person that you'll meet at the Cosmetic Plastic Surgery Centre, either on the telephone or at the reception counter, is our Receptionist, Ana. A Southern California native, she presently makes her home in Leawood with her daughter, fiancée, and three cats. Her interests include cooking, entertaining, music, and assisting with local charities.

Christina's career as an aesthetician began in 1985. She is devoted to educating you about skin care. Her goal is to bridge the gap between cosmetics and medical skin care therapy. She is passionate about her work and finds it challenging and rewarding . Friendly, Attentive, Thoughtful
Marla received her Nursing Degree from Loma Linda University, California in 1993. She has completed two years of graduate study as a Nurse Practicioner at Kansas University Medical Center. She sees many of our patients for their post-operative facial and body treatments, dressing changes, suture removal, and post-surgical laser procedures. Marla fills in for our nurses on a part-time basis because she is a full time mother of two young children. She is sensitive and understanding, and will always take that extra time to listen to any questions or concerns you may have. When she finds free time, she has fun biking, roller blading and decorating her home.
