Your Surgery

Today’s facelift is more effective and natural looking than ever before. That’s why this year, more than 100,000 Americans will have facelifts and many of them will end up looking as much as five to ten years younger. You can look naturally younger, refreshed, rested and healthy. With today’s new surgical techniques and advancements, facelifts now last longer than ever before. Dr. Bennett will tighten up not only the skin but the underlying tissue as well. The procedure is done on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia with intravenous sedation. You will go home with dressings around your head and neck, which are usually removed in our office the next day. Minimal initial discomfort if easily controlled with oral medication. Sutures are removed with 14 days and any bruising and swelling that you will experience decreased to “socially acceptable” levels within 10-20 days. The final result is evident in 4-6 weeks or sooner with continued improvement for several months.

The goal of a facelift is not to give you a different look, but rather help you look as you used to—it’s like turning back the clock! By tightening both the skin and the tissue beneath and adding the fat that has been lost from the aging process it can lessen and eliminate wrinkles, creases and lines, and restore the younger, natural contours of your face.

The “Skin Resurfacing Treatments” offered by our Skin Care Therapists in our office will beautify your results and keep your skin looking younger and refreshed as well.
