FOREHEAD LIFT/BROW LIFT

A forehead lift/brow lift will smooth out your forehead, while raising the upper eyelids and reducing frown lines. It is often performed to erase many of the effects associated with aging, leaving you with a smoother, more youthful looking appearance. Younger adults who have a low brow or who already have deep frown lines due to stress or over activity of muscles may benefit from this procedure as well.

Your Surgery

Your surgery is performed on an outpatient basis under general anesthesia. Through a forehead incision, Dr. Bennett can modify or remove parts of the muscles that cause wrinkling and frown lines, remove excess skin, and lift your eyebrows to a more pleasing level. Another approach is the endoscopic forehead lift technique. Dr. Bennett will discuss with you the better procedure to produce the results you desire. Following surgery you may experience temporary swelling, numbness, headaches or bruising. Initial discomfort is easily controlled with oral medication. You can usually resume your normal activity within 7 to 10 days.

Procedures that may enhance your results may include a Facelift, Eyelid Lift, Fat transfer, Dermal Filler, Botox® Cosmetic, and Laser Skin Resurfacing.
