NECK LIFT
You may consider a neck lift…
If you have localized deposits
of fat in the anterior part of the neck—under
the chin
If you do not have skin laxity
under the chin
A neck lift will give you a more
youthful neck with an attractive contour
Your Surgery
Your surgery is performed on an outpatient
basis under sedation and local or general anesthesia.
Two small incisions will be made under the chin. Fat
is suctioned from the neck, jaw line and jowl areas—depending
on the results you desire. You will return home with
your chin and neck wrapped in dressings or in an elastic
neck sling. Initial discomfort is easily controlled
with oral medication. Swelling and bruising disappear
over approximately 2 weeks. Your final result is evident
in 1 to 3 months.
We invite you to schedule a
private consultation with Dr. Bennett or one of our
nurse coordinators. During the consultation all aspects
of your proposed surgery will be discussed including
preparation, relative risks, recovery, range of fees,
and financing options. We gladly schedule from one to
two hours for your consultation. We encourage you to
ask questions and express your needs and concerns in
a relaxed and unhurried atmosphere.
